Our mission is to find a way to reach people when roads are gone—providing rapid access, life-saving assessment, and hope to those cut off by disaster.

We operate in the gap between disaster and access.

When floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, or wildfires destroy roads and isolate communities, traditional response vehicles often can’t reach those who need help most. Pathfinders Search and Rescue is built specifically for those moments—when there is no clear route forward and time matters..

Our focus is simple: reach the unreachable.

Our Story

Pathfinders Search and Rescue is a nonprofit disaster response team founded in September 2024 when our founder shut down his business to respond to Hurricane Helene relief efforts in North Carolina. Seeing firsthand how communities were isolated by destroyed infrastructure reinforced a long-standing belief: access saves lives.

Pathfinders Search and Rescue was born from that experience.
